Harrisburg Hornets Shooting Team win SCTP (Scholastic Clay Target Program) State Championship held at Remington Gun Club, Lonoke AR, July 11, 2009. Harrisburgs Team competed in the Senior/Junior Varsity Division and shot a score of 477 out of 500 for an average of 95.4%. On July 12, 2008 the AAA Hornet Shooting Team took top honors at the SCTP Arkansas Shoot. Teams from across the state traveled to the Remington Gun Club in Lonoke to compete for the title. This is the third state title won by the tam.
